Anne Phung Nguyen

Anne Phung Nguyen, a Vietnamese American businesswoman, lives in Orange County California. I have a wonderful fiance named JP and a frightened dad Henry. Most people know me via my Instagram @annephung, where I document my life - highs and lows, as well as all in between. My parents brought my family to America in 1990, when I was only one and a half years old. I would not be able to share my life story today had my parents not worked hard and make sacrifices. So that they could give their children a chance at a more prospering future, I aimed on my goals and worked hard to get there. It was my plan to attend school in order to finish my studies and secure a good job. After that, I was looking for to have a family and a wife. Though I believed that this was the ideal definition of the ideal life, reality had other goals. My corporate job in 2013 was a job I hated. Status and money were not what I needed to feel happy. I felt I was living a solitary existence to get a pay check. I possessed a love of exercising and enjoyed being social and helping others as I navigated towards my new career path. I found my calling in personal training. This year I will celebrate my 7th Anniversary. In 2014, I launched my own company. Very few Asian women work in the fashion industry. As a coach, my goal is to encourage others and empower them to live a healthier and happy life by creating healthy and sustainable living styles that meet every person's individual needs and desires. Also, I'm dedicated to helping others become empowered so that they are able to achieve their goals, follow their passions and live the life of your dreams. As my career was taking off, I was struck by the most devastating loss in my life to datethat of losing my mother. She fought a long and arduous fight with the disease and is resting in Heaven and with me in my mind and heart at all times. It's amazing how the world gives us exactly the lesson we need, even if we aren't aware of it. My mother's death has changed my life in a profound way and I believe she gave me another chance to live my life. It was the Tet/Lunar New Year Day when she passed. She had her chance to embark on a new journey as I was given my second shot at living a happy and fulfilling life. As I enter my 30's, I'm alive and alert. of the fact like I'm living my life today instead of merely surviving as the person I was back in my previous. My life is shared with you in hopes that you'll be able to connect with my words and experiences for you to feel secure knowing that you're not alone, for you to realize that you're far more capable than anything else you put your heart into. and that love is real, that therapy is not a problem and as health is the most valuable asset. I hope that you enjoy the life you want to live and to die with no regrets, as death is the sole possibility that awaits us in our life.
